Launched in 2005, Puma’s Mongolian BBQ program is the most inspired customization project out. What it lacks in footwear choices, it has made up for in materials and sheer fun. They’ve added the First Round, for the first time folding a high top in with the RS-100 and Basket (the original shoe was the Cabana Racer). A good silhouette to play with, here’s hoping the ingredients to cook with are strong as well.

The upper is made of soft leather and suede details and instead of the usual strings an incredible network of ties to form a two-tone design unique and lively. The model Martin Margiela Lace Cross Trainer can be purchased online from Oki-ni for £ 245.

The Christian Lacroix sneakers are designed in the 19th century French baroque style and feature paisley patterns influenced by capes worn by bullfighters. The sneakers come in either black and white or gold and silver and are available from Christian Lacroix stores.

The models Reverse Jam “and Women’s Courtee” reproduce images of the game as banknotes colored, nuts, houses, hotels, the overall design of Monopoly with a surprising result and the whole color. The new collection for men, woman and child will be launched from the end of August.

The Beijing Olympic Games are just around the corner and a million special edition products are popping up everywhere. This time it is Nike’s turn to show off one of its many Olympics related items. Nike Air Max 1 “Olympic Perforated Metal” pack certainly is hot and the thing to own amongst a throng of other unforgettable nothings. It consists of two Air Max 1’s, one coming in gold, the other one in silver, both with entirely perforated uppers and embroidery on the heel and white sole. I’m not a fan of the gold, however the silver is a completely different story. It looks awesome and is a must own pair of shoes especially for Olypics’ fans.

Another classic Nike silhouette gets the neon treatment. This time it’s the turn of the trusty old Elite runner, and he doesn’t dissapoint. There’s something about the cool grey upper and neon accents (especially on thoose laces). The Nike Elite comes in cool grey and neon yellow, in a mix of leather, suede and patent leather. A very solid shoe.
It’s now available at Size?.

Here are some pics of the Cortez which is part of the Nike Sportswear Fall ‘08 collection. It features an all grey colorway with an upper made of suede and other materials, along with a white Swoosh and lining.
